Professional Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Sciences

The Professional License in Agronomic Sciences is a Bac+3 level training which aims to train professionals capable of designing, managing and optimizing agricultural production systems. This license is aimed at holders of a scientific BAC, students holding a BTS or a DUT in agriculture, agrifood or the environment, as well as professionals in retraining.

 

The objectives of this training are multiple:

 

- Acquire the necessary knowledge in agronomy, plant and animal biology, ecology and the environment.

- Master the techniques of management and optimization of agricultural production systems.

- Know the different agricultural production sectors and their specificities, as well as the regulations in force.

- Know how to assess the economic, social and environmental impacts of agricultural production systems.

- Understand the challenges of sustainable management of natural resources and biodiversity.

 

The professional opportunities for graduates of this license are varied. They can work on farms, agricultural cooperatives, agri-food companies, research organizations or even in local authorities. The positions available are also varied: agricultural production manager, agricultural adviser, environmental studies officer, etc.
