Pro License in Agroforestry

The Professional License in Agroforestry is a Bac+3 level training which aims to train professionals capable of reconciling agricultural production and the sustainable management of natural resources. This license is aimed at holders of a scientific BAC, students holding a BTS or a DUT in agriculture, environment or management, as well as professionals in retraining.

 

The objectives of this training are multiple:

 

- Acquire the necessary skills to design and implement agroforestry systems adapted to local contexts.

- Master soil, water and tree management techniques in agroforestry systems.

- Know the different plant and animal species used in agroforestry systems and their interactions.

- Know how to assess the economic, social and environmental impacts of agroforestry systems.

- Understand the challenges of sustainable management of natural resources and biodiversity.

 

The professional opportunities for graduates of this license are varied. They can work on farms, agri-food companies, agricultural cooperatives, environmental studies offices or even in the technical services of local authorities.

The positions available are also varied: agroforestry production manager, agroecology adviser, environmental mission manager, etc.
